I'm a software developer at Octavision, where I build mobile software for VaamanHR.

Most of my work is around React Native and Android — especially the parts where things get closer to the device: background location, activity recognition, geofencing and on-device ML.

I built react-native-geo-activity-kit while working on VaamanHR. It's an open-source Android library for background location and activity tracking.

Right now I'm spending a lot of time learning about machine learning, neural networks and what intelligence actually means.

Before software gets interesting, it usually gets complicated. That's the part I like.
